Meet Rizwan Ahmad, DDS
Dr. Ahmad was born and raised here in Montgomery County. At the University of Maryland, he received bachelor’s degrees in both Computer Science and Biology. Upon graduation, he worked at the Pentagon as a computer programmer but after almost two years, Dr. Ahmad decided to go back to school and earned his D.D.S. degree from the University of Maryland Dental School. He performed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was extensively trained in performing esthetic reconstruction cases, placing and restoring dental implants, and dental management for cancer, immune-compromised, and physically debilitated patients.
Dr. Ahmad takes great pride in treating the elderly community and those with special needs. He is a frequent guest speaker at assisted living homes, detailing the present oral health concerns for seniors. Dr. Ahmad is a member of the Special Care Dental Association (SCDA) and volunteers at the Special Olympics performing dental screenings for its athletes.
Otherwise, Dr. Ahmad is a huge Washington Capitals and Washington Redskins fan. So be careful if you mention sports, because he may talk your head off!
